More than 150,000 hatchery trout will be planted in dozens of Oregon lakes and streams ahead of the state’s traditional Free Fishing Weekend on June 1 and 2.
These 10 Oregon lakes and rivers will be heavily stocked with hatchery rainbow trout (including some big ones) before the Memorial Day Weekend.
Roughly 33 tons of trophy-sized hatchery rainbow trout will be released into Detroit Lake through June. That’s a lot of limits with 44,000 extra fat fish.
