Maine Saltwater Fishing Records
The Maine Department of Marine Resources tracks records for species taken in the state’s saltwater areas, including estuary areas.
The agency tracks records for different methods of harvest. We’ve concentrated on listing the catches in the Rod and Reel category, with one species listed in the Fly Rod categories. Categories the department also tracks include harpoon, hand line, and some junior angler categories.
