Prineville Youth Pond is stocked with rainbow trout every spring and fall to give kids a great opportunity to catch fish. There also are largemouth bass and bullhead catfish in the pond, which also is open to adults with a state-issued disabled angler permit.

Prineville Reservoir simply offers Central Oregon’s best variety of warmwater fishing with abundant smallmouth and largemouth bass, crappie and bullhead catfish. It’s also quite a good place to catch good-sized rainbow trout.
Ochoco Reservoir (aka Ochoco Lake) can be a very reliable spot in Central Oregon to catch good-sized stocked and native rainbow trout as well as abundant crappie and bass.
Antelope Flat Reservoir, in the high desert southeast of Prineville, can provide excellent fishing for good-sized rainbow trout during the spring and sometimes in the fall and winter.
Olallie Lake is a favorite trout-fishing and camping destination at the center of an alpine lake-filled scenic area in the high Cascade Mountains in the Mt. Hood National Forest.
